With the start of school just around the corner, many of you may be starting to "hit the books" again. If you are looking for a great trilogy, you definitely have to check out The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. This New York Times best selling author has outdone herself with these books. If you have not already jumped onto the Hunger Games bandwagon, you definitely should. These books are filled with extraordinary detail, thrilling action, and a love story that will keep you hooked.

The first book in the trilogy was made into a box office hit earlier this year and production for the second movie will start soon. The Hunger Games movie was just released on DVD on August 18th and Young and Chic was all over that. The movie was phenomenal. It was an accurate interpretation of the book while still presenting an action-packed film. The star-studded cast showed off their talents and really embraced the uniqueness of each of their characters. We are very excited for the release of the second (and third) movies and we would love to hear your thoughts about the Hunger Games craze!
